S’AGAPÓ SHOOTING EUDERMIC PASTE Dermorigenerating product useful to help the repairing process of tissues. Ideal for redness, irritation, rhagade, trauma or skin problems in general. This speci c formulation with a barrier effect protects the treated area and facilitates skin regeneration thanks to its functional actives. Specifically, the product contains :
SNAIL SLIME: natural substance with excellent bene cial properties for the skin. Inside it contains innumerable constituents such as allantoin, lactic acid, glycolic acid, collagen, elastin, mucopolysaccharides (GAG), proteins, enzymes, amino acids, vitamins and minerals. Thanks to the synergy of action of its main components, this extraordinary active substance boasts protective, regenerating, restructuring, purifying and healing properties. It improves and consolidates the tone of the skin, hydrates the skin and protects from external factors, reduces redness and irritation from various nature, purifies gently and promotes the elimination of blemishes without altering the skin structure and the physiological hydrolipidic film. The snail slime also has strong healing and soothing properties; in fact, thanks to the protective action carried out by mucopolysaccharides, it accelerates the cicatrization process facilitating the healing of wounds.
ZINC OXIDE: white powder with very fine grains, always known for its high anti-irritative and protective power against external climatic and environ- mental agents. It forms an active barrier that can soothe redness, inflammation and irritation. Thanks to its filming action, it also helps to heal the skin wounds favoring their healing and limiting the attack and bacterial proliferation at the level of the lesion.
SWEET ALMOND OIL: obtained by cold pressing of the oily seed contained in the fruit of the Almond tree. Known since ancient times, this precious vegetable oil is exploited at the cutaneous level for its high compatibility with the hydrolipidic film. It has innumerable beneficial properties, in particular those moisturizing, elasticizing, restoring and emollient. Thanks to its natural richness in valuable fatty acids, vitamins (especially B and E), proteins and mineral salts (zinc, iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium) is often used to protect and nourish the skin, reduce infiammation, irritation, redness and itching. It is a light, silky, non-greasy oil that is easily absorbed; gives shine and softness without leaving annoying fat residues.
OAT EXTRACT: natural extract with strong emollient, restorative and moisturizing properties. At the cutaneous level it carries out a protective action and an inhibiting activity against xanthine oxidase, an enzyme able to generate hydrogen peroxide and free radicals. The extract of oats besides being a valid antioxidant agent, is often used also for its anti-reddening and antipruritic properties.
COCONUT OIL: thick and full-bodied oil obtained from the fruits of the homonymous plant (Cocus nucifera), typical of the tropical coasts. It is distinguished from other vegetable oils for its high content in saturated fatty acids, in particular lauric, capric and caprylic acid; lauric acid makes up about 50% of Coconut oil and is considered the main responsible for the activities of this oil. Numerous scientific studies have shown that Coconut oil possesses high beneficial properties, in particular it is considered a powerful anti-infiammatory, anti-parasitic, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-viral agent. Thanks to its particular composition, it moisturizes, protects and promotes skin regeneration; it also contains high amounts of vitamin E with emollient and antioxidant activity.
CALENDULA OIL: oily extract, obtained by maceration from the owers of Calendula o cinalis, particularly rich in molecules with antioxidant, sooth- ing, cicatrizing and anti-infiammatory activities. Calendula oil preparations are useful for calming redness, burning and relieving the itching sensation. It promotes skin regeneration, thus accelerating scarring and wound healing process. Very used topically to soothe irritations and to alleviate dermatitis, including the atopic one.
THYME ESSENTIAL OIL: extracted by steam distillation of the common thyme plant, it is traditionally used for multiple purposes. It consists of several aromatic molecules, in particular contains high percentages (over 50%) of Timolus, the main substance responsible for the antiseptic activity of this essential oil. It possesses high antibacterial, antifungal, antimicrobial and anti-rotting properties and is also traditionally used in the skin for treated in ammations, infections and insect bites. Some studies have also shown that the essential oil of thyme is a valuable antiparasitic, able to eliminate parasites that afflict the skin and cause dermatitis and skin lesions. If combined with other essential aromatherapy oils, it also helps to form an active and repellent barrier against files, mosquitoes and different kind of insects.
GLYCERINE VEGETABLE: also called glycerol, consists of a thick and viscous liquid that has three -OH groups. It is a natural and vegetal substance, completely miscible with water. It has been known for many years for its regenerated, moisturizing and humectant functions, in particular it is indicated to enrich pasty formulas with a barrier effect.
VITAMIN E: is a fat-soluble vitamin, found mainly in cold-pressed vegetable oils. Its main activity consists in the inhibition of the formation of lipoperoxides at the level of the dermis and in the reduction of the synthesis of dangerous free radicals, and is therefore considered a powerful natural antioxidant, useful to protect the skin.
